During Press Conference Maria Karapetyan and Sargis Khandanyan Give Details on Work of the 10th Ordinary Session of Euronest PA

Deputies from ruling and opposition factions were included in the delegation of the National Assembly taking part in the work of the 10th Ordinary Session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly held in Chisinau on 19-21 February. The Head of the NA Delegation to the Organization Maria Karapetyan said about this at March 1 press conference.

Taking part in the meetings of 4 Committees, the members of the Armenian delegation voiced the issue of urgent unblocking of the Lachin Corridor.

The Assembly adopted a Resolution, which calls on to solve the humanitarian issues, as the release of the Armenian persons being held in Azerbaijan, the clarification of information on destinies of the persons missing during the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and the implementation of the UNESCO Mission aimed at the preservation of the cultural heritage in the region.

The Assembly stresses the addressing the rights and the security of the Nagorno Karabakh Armenians for establishing lasting peace in the region.

The Member of the NA Delegation to Euronest Parliamentary Assembly Sargis Khandanyan also took part in the press conference.
